Exporting Exchange 2007 Emails

Hi Guys,

This is a rare one which would be extremely hard to find on the internet in regards to exporting Microsoft Exchange 2007 email our of the mail stores on the server.

I find this extremely useful because the Microsoft Exchange shell is much easier to use when exporting Exchange 2007 emails than any other method.

All you need to do is open the Microsoft Exchange 2007 management shell and run the below command.

export-mailbox -identity EmailAlias -PSTFolderPath C:\temp\NameOfFile.pst -BadItemLimit 10

The email alias is the alias you would find for the user in the Exchange 2007 management console, and the location is where you want the PST Archive file created.
